Thank you for making our Book Fair a success!
What a fun week we had at our Book Fair Safari this past week! We sold more than 2,000 books at our Fair, and Literati will give back thousands of dollars to our school via Titlewave Credit – redeemable on numerous types of library and school supplies. A huge shout out goes to Sam Patath and Monica Segobia, who managed and staffed the fair all week long, as well as to the rest of the book fair committee (Kate Scharf, Andi Brown, and Librarians Briannon McCurdy and Thuy Le), and the many parents who helped set up the fair, work the cash registers, monitor the lines and restock the shelves. It took a village! Thank you, LES!
MoreSign Up NOW for the Fall Res Run to $ave!
Sign up for the 2024 ResRun before June 30th and save $10 on each registration!
The ResRun will be Sunday, October 20, 2024. A percentage of all registrations go back to the schools, and last year LES received over $8,000.
On top of the money received from registrations, there are contests for schools to win additional $500 beneficiary checks, and the first is “School with the Most registrations by September 30th”.
Can we take advantage of the discounted early registration and give Burton Valley a run for the money (pun intended)?
Make sure to select "Lafayette" from the pulldown menu under "Which School Are You Supporting?" for each individual runner/participant!

Important Info for PTA Reimbursements!
- Reimbursement requests for events or purchases made prior to May must be submitted by May 20th
- For expenses incurred in May, reimbursement requests must be submitted by June 7th
- Any reimbursement requests sent after May 24th will be eligible to be fulfilled only through Zelle (we cannot fulfill any paper check requests after that date)
- Please cash any paper check reimbursements received by June 15th
